Since 1930, my gran, mom & I developed it, gave it it's pretty name in 1968, and we've shown our wool, cotton, silk Shirret rugs in the Midwest and New England. I cut strips from native US UK sheep wool, and add the gathers to crochet stitches. I'm a painter and climate change activist, US/UK.
