Most people understand only the basics of a dream catcher, made familiar by indigenous legends of the Native Americans. When I first became interested in dream catchers, it was in their connections first to the great weavers of the critter kingdom - spiders - then, as my journey with them grew, I became more interested in them as a tool for focused meditation, spiritual growth dream direction, and healing. I’ve been a willing and enthusiastic student of my Creator and have been fortunate to have many people through the years who’ve given me feedback on the creations that have been born through this journey. As a result, I’ve learned a great deal about the purpose and use of dream catchers in spiritual growth and healing that, well, isn’t found anywhere I know of. What started out as a hobby and interest in exploring to my crafting heritage has become a blessed journey I couldn’t have expected or foreseen when I started; expanding from the initial dream catchers into other forms of weaving, carving and crafting. I consider this primarily a spiritual endeavor on my part. I meditate on each design to bring them forward - whatever the expression of craft - and bless each one before they go off to their new home. For me, it’s a path I gladly skip down.
As you browse through, I’ll offer what I know about what each creation shared with me as it was crafted and how it could help you in your life. I’ll offer insight on the stones, colors and weaves used. And with each purchase, I’ll ship a special blessing and the Legend of the Dream Catcher.
