Announcement    I have lived in Michigan all my life and have been making jewelry for over 9 yrs. I am a Metal-smith and also Wire Wrap. I do not use purchased settings and then glue the stones in. I hand fabricate every setting I sell and do the majority of the lapidary work myself so you can be guaranteed that each piece of jewelry I have in my shop has been handled by only myself and is a one-of-a kind piece that was created with much care and experience.

Here at Simply Wired we specialize in fine handcrafted jewelry from the items we have collected from the shores of the Great Lakes of MI. We also offer unique designs of bead and wire jewelry from Bohemian style to more modern and contemporary style.

The difference between what I offer in my shop in comparison to other shops is that 95% of the stones I use I have fashioned myself. I do all my own lapidary work rather then just purchasing cabochons to wire wrap. It takes a great amount of time and patience to work my own stones especially with the Agates, since their hardness is rated so high and much harder to shape and polish. You can be guaranteed that a great amount of time and care has gone into each stone and the metal smith design or the wire wrap work. So please keep that in mind when comparing prices of other Artisans work you may see on Etsy.

I also offer making "made to order" items if you have a special stone that you would like shaped, polished and placed into a setting.
