Sketch.inc is my creative outlet!
I was raised in a sleepy coastal town in the east of England, sculpting tiny Chess pieces from boxes of chalk, defacing my Grandmother's Nesting Dolls, creating colorful collages from shiny sweet wrappers and all the while chronicling every image or idea which came to mind in my beloved sketchbooks.
A sketchbook has lived in my pocket since I was old enough not to loose it. I’ve always loved to draw simple silhouettes of animals and objects paired with bright geometric graphics, the Harlequin brooch designs slept in my sketchbook for six months before they were realized as jewellery.
I like to think of my Brooches as portable tiny works of art with personality, walking their owners up and down high streets, camping out at festivals or simply reaching parts of the world I never will.
Sketch.inc is the culmination of my playful images and ideas which can be enjoyed on a wall, a desk or travel with you on your cardigan.
