    Owner

I have been a crafty person since I was little. I did my first craft show at the tender age of 9. I started making cross stitches and giving them as gifts, then graduated to patterns when I had so many requests for them.

  • Zeus

    First Dog

Zeus is my rescue dog from Daejon, South Korea. He helps with inspiration, cuddles, and in keeping me from updating my shop on sunny days.

Can I make the pattern smaller?

The way it works with counted cross stitches is that each pixel counts as one stitch. In this case, a great number of my patterns are 112 by 140 stitches, which makes it about 8x10 inches using 14 count AIDA fabric. It is called 14 count because it is 14 stitches to the inch. AIDA fabric comes in all sorts of sizes for ease of stitching.

In order to make this pattern smaller, you would have to make the physical stitches smaller, the pattern itself can't be resized, only the stitches. I use this calculator https://www.yarntree.com/java/xstitchcal.htm to do conversions, although I am happy to help if you would like.
