After many years working in a bank, without using my craft skills learned as a child, I started missing that relaxing time.

I learned to knit and embroider from my mother when I was a child and kept using those skills along my teen years. I made sweaters for myself, then later on, cross stitch hanging art for my friends' nurseries, and Arraiolos tapestry for my home. But I never had the opportunity to learn how to sew and it was something that I'd always wanted to try. My Mom and grandmoms passed away without teaching me and when I got married I bought myself a sewing machine... but... never used it!

In 2009 I attended some hand sewing and machine sewing one-day-classes and never left my sewing machine out of sight since - I've even upgraded it to a better one!

I started buying designers' cotton fabrics and making mini pouches for my friends, then came 2009 Xmas Holiday and suddenly I was receiving loads of orders. After spending one year just selling to friends I decided to open my etsy shop (since I was already a buyer).

The best part is looking at lovely colorful fabrics, mixing and matching them and wonder what products will come. Sometimes bibs are born, sometimes wallets, book covers, framed coin pouches, or even bridesmaid clutches. I let the fabrics talk to me.
