Soups are a favorite , I used to make a weekly batch of special homemade soup for my Mom who was then a truly vintage senior still living independently on her own. To keep tabs on her and to make sure she was eating, nutritionally etc., I would deliver a batch for the week. She so thoroughly enjoyed the special attention and the soup - - and I knew she was having something nutritious, healthy, and tasty. These soups were easy to heat up and enjoy with a roll or slice of bread.
Mom has since passed on ( always here in Spirit ,she so loved the soups) I made all kinds of soups, from beets, to potatoes, leeks, to tomato soup… I now continue to make soup in my Zen space , all verities of soups to the delight of family and sharing recipes with friends I believe that a good soup adds to a simple delight at anytime day or night. A cup of soup salad good crusty bread and a favorite glass of wine go well anytime. Great to top it off with a coffee and simple luscious dessert!
Soups are always a delight,can make and freeze them for use at later times I recommend getting together with old and new friends with Soup Parties…great way to entertain . Everyone can share contributing a favorite Soup recipe ,breads or wine.
