SPECIMENTAL is conflict-free rough diamonds, raw crystals, uncut gemstones, geodes, fossils, and minerals embedded in unique handmade jewelry. I work in all colours and karats of gold, and in sterling silver. I am happy to be able to offer recycled gold to my clients- please see the information provided below.

All pieces are created in my Vancouver, Canada, studio. Please keep reading for information on my production time, shipping, and insurance on purchases.

PRODUCTION TIME, INSURANCE, AND SHIPPING- PLEASE READ:

Most of my pieces are made-to-order. Please see individual listings, which will state whether the piece is custom, or ready to ship.

At present, my production time for custom pieces you see listed in my shop is AROUND A MINIMUM OF SIX WEEKS, depending upon the complexity of the piece . This CAN BE LONGER, though, so please keep that in mind when ordering. So, building custom and made-to-order items will take me at least this long after payment and any custom requests/sizes have been received. If your piece will take more time to build, I will let you know. If you have a firm 'need by' date, please make sure you let me know- otherwise, I will do my best to produce your piece in six weeks, but please understand that this can take longer- I am an extremely busy one-person show :)

Less-expensive pieces ship using regular Air Mail shipping, which has a delivery guideline of 4-10 business days into the USA- however, there is no time guarantee from Canada Post on this. International delivery takes around 2 weeks or longer. Also, Air Mail does not include a tracking number. It does include $100 of insurance. This shipping method is $7.50 into the USA.

Costlier pieces are sent into the USA with Expedited Canada Post (4-10 business days estimated delivery time, tracking number and $100 of insurance included). This shipping method is between $15-20 into the USA.

My custom ring sets and most costly pieces are sent using Overnight Purolator ($35 into the USA, $55 Internationally, NO insurance provided) or Canada Post Expresspost for $25 with $100 of insurance (3-5 days of travel time). I want them in your hands as quickly as possible once they are complete! Contact me for the cost of an insurance upgrade, if you would like your pieces insured for their full value. I cannot replace nor refund for pieces that ship without full insurance.

RAW DIAMOND SIZING: I have a huge collection of conflict-free rough diamonds, and they are my favourite specimens to work with. I have finally started sorting my white and silver crystal cluster diamonds by size, and have made listings for each size category. The categories are Size A (2mm), Size B (3.5-4mm), Size C (5-6mm), Size D (7-7.5mm), Size E (9-10mm), Size F (10.5-11mm), and Size G (11.5mm plus).

I have also listed my top-grade yellow crystal clusters, and my larger cube diamonds. I still have a lot to go through, which include ball formation, small cubes, green crystal clusters, orange crystal clusters, and some really large silver diamonds. If any of these sound like they would make your perfect ring, please get in touch for photos.

RECYCLED GOLD: Now available in most millings, I am happy to offer certified recycled gold to my clients. Using recycled gold does not add any cost to your piece, but may add extra time- if I do not have your gold's specific dimensions on hand, it has to be ordered from the smelter and imported into Canada. Please get in touch if you are interested in having your ring made in recycled gold- I currently have some milings of 14k and 18k yellow gold on hand.

RUSH ORDERS may be possible depending upon the piece, but please check with me first before purchasing. If you need something quickly, just let me know, and I may be able to accommodate you. CUSTOM REQUESTS: I am still able to accommodate those of you with custom requests for pieces not seen in the shop, or for variations upon my present stock or past creations. However, the wait for a request is around SIX WEEKS MINIMUM at this moment in time. Custom orders can be started after a 50% deposit has been made.

METALS: I can create custom pieces in white gold, rose gold, yellow gold, sterling silver, copper, and brass.

YOUR STONES: I am always happy to custom-create a one-of-a-kind piece using your stone. I am also able to disassemble your jewelry and create a new piece from it- any unused metals and stones will be returned with your new creation.

LAYAWAY: Get in touch if you see something you like, but can't buy until later. I am generally able to place pieces on hold.
