SpincycleYarns' Shop Policies

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our Etsy store!

We spinsters are otherwise known as Kate Burge and Rachel Price. We kettle-dye and handspin yarns for knitting and crocheting. We use only natural fibers and non-toxic, professional dyes. Our yarns are super-soft and are spun in a wide range of weights for any project. We also design and sell knitwear patterns that are compatible with our yarns.

We are a two-woman operation, and we have our hands on every stage of the process. We buy fleeces (locally, as much as possible) or roving from the greenest farms we can, scour and dye each batch, then spin the yarns on our spinning wheels. We design our own knitwear patterns, and we even screen print our t-shirts ourselves. Everything is done is our tiny studio in downtown Bellingham.

Payment

We take all the major credit cards via PayPal. Washington state residents will be charged sales tax.

Shipping

We ship USPS Priority on all US orders; international orders are shipped Economy. Orders go out within three business days of receiving your payment. Shipping is $6 for US orders and $13 for international orders.

Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the uniqueness of each dyelot, all sales are final. Exchanges are possible within 10 days of purchase. We do not reimburse shipping costs in either direction.

Additional Policies and FAQs

We are happy to discuss custom colorways. Just convo us, but remember that dyeing is not like painting. We have some control over shades and blending, but there will be surprises.

We use Jacquard acid dyes. These are lightfast, non-toxic dyes. However, with brighter colors, there may be a slight loss of color in the rinse water.

For questions regarding the origin of the fibers, see our FAQ page here: http://www.spincycleyarns.com/faq/

Thanks very much for knitting with our kettle-dyed and handspun yarns!
