UPDATE 3/21/11: Just dropping in to say that the new website will be up hopefully by the end of the week. Let's cross our fingers, shall we? Also, the Curl Enhancing Jelly and the Firm Hold Styling Gel are next up getting new, all natural fragrances. This is still a few weeks away but I'm giving you a heads up because I'm really happy with the new scents and I think you will be too. These fragrances are expertly blended essential oils that not only smell good, but have been specially chosen for their benefits to the hair, skin, and your psyche!
I have gotten a lotten of questions regarding the release of the Moisturizing Cream Shampoo and the Botanical Cleansing Conditioner. I know it has been a LONG time since the promised release... let me explain what is going on. As many of you know, Spiral Solutions products are moving to more natural and organic ingredients. The fragrances were not the only things being re-vamped. The shampoo is being tweaked so that it contains the best ingredients possible. This is very involved process and every change that is made has to meet my approval before proceeding further. I know that all of my customers expect the highest quality products that deliver on their promises... the delays are due to my commitment to fulfilling that expectation. Introducing the newest member of the Spiral Solutions lineup: the Nourishing Hair & Scalp Oil. This is an exquisite oil that soothes dry scalp, and carries nourishing botanicals to the hair follicle to encourage healthy growth. This is truly a special product that contains precious oils such as Argan, Tamanu, Blackseed & Carrot seed to name just a few. This oil is CONCENTRATED. I use high concentrations of the infused jojoba and the exotic oils. This is to maximize the nutrient benefits to the hair follicle when used as a scalp massage. For hot oil treatments you can measure out a small amount and mix (about a 50/50 ratio) with your favorite treatment oil. I like Avocado, Olive oil, Sesame, and Macadamia Nut. Coconut oil would be great too. This makes the Hair & Scalp oil a very economical oil in comparison to other treatment oils that are much more diluted with cheap carrier oils.
The Reduced/Discontinued section is not a regular stock of products, but rather a place where misfit items will live until they are adopted into new homes. What do I mean by misfit items? It may be an unusual sized item, an orphan of a discontinued fragrance, or perhaps the packaging is slightly irregular (an upside down label or something!).

MOISTURIZING CREAM SHAMPOO - sulfate-free and enriched with shea butter and honey, this rich cream gently cleanses your hair without stripping valuable moisture from your curls and scalp... Coming soon (sorry, manufacturing delays)....
CAITLIN'S CONDITIONER (tm) - A silky smooth conditioning creme that detangles, moisturizes, and strengthens your hair. This is an all-around conditioner that rejuvenates all hair types with mild jojoba and oat proteins, while hydrolyzed silk provides a gorgeous luminosity to each strand. Your hair will look and feel like silk after using this conditioner! If you have color or highlights in your hair, this conditioner really makes them shine!
CURL ENHANCING JELLY (tm)-- an aloe vera based gel designed to enhance curls and waves and discourage frizz. It has light hold, and can be used on wet or dry hair with no stickiness or tack. It is an excellent base layer for other styling products.
FIRM HOLD STYLING GEL -- This contains a higher concentration of styling agents than the curling jelly for a firmer hold and protection from humidity. Can be used alone, layered over the curling jelly, or even mix them together to form a fantastic curl enhancing cocktail. It has a clean feel that never leaves your hair feeling product-laden or gunky.
EMOLLIENCE (tm) -- A very rich hair butter so a little goes a long way. This is a truly luxurious blend that absorbs very quickly and leaves a wonderful silky shine behind. Wonderful for sealing the moisture into your hair, and sealing the environment out! Fabulous in the hair, fabulous on the body...this is a multi-purpose product that works on everyone! It is a dense butter... no water, no fillers. Just pure exotic butters and oils blended to perfection.
REPAIRING PROTEIN TREATMENT -- Strengthens and smooths damaged hair and helps fortify the shaft to prevent further damage and breakage. This is great to use before and/or after chemical processing. Use once or twice a month to keep hair strong and healthy. Very damaged hair or hair that is subjected to frequent heat styling may benefit from more frequent treatments. This is a strong protein treatment that delivers real results.
DEEPLY DECADENT(tm) MOISTURIZING TREATMENT -- Luxuriously rich and thick, this conditioner restores moisture, softness, and shine to dry hair. Highly recommended for use after the Repairing Conditioner. Ayurvedic herbs and botanical extracts condition your hair, soothe the scalp, and penetrate deep to nourish the hair follicle.
