StudioCherie's Shop Policies
Welcome
I have designed and made everything I offer here. I do not use other people's patterns or copy designs and sell them as my own. I am excited about offering my patterns here for you to purchase and customize for yourself and as gifts.
This is my copyright statement and terms of the cottage licensing agreement that comes with my patterns-
Items made from this pattern may be sold with the following conditions:
1. Credit StudioCherie for the pattern design in all written item descriptions. For example,when selling online please include the following sentence in your item description: "This item was made using a StudioCherie pattern," or when selling in-person, have a tag that says "made under license from StudioCherie."
2. All items for sale must be handmade by you. Contracting with others to mass produce the design requires a commercial licensing agreement. Contact me if you need a commercial licensing agreement for any of my products.
3. Distribution of the pattern and corresponding instructions is expressly prohibited.
4. Use of a StudioCherie pattern to derive a similar pattern for sale is expressly prohibited.
For a limited time, I also offer finished items made by me. I am happy to make any of my designs in any fabric you like. Just keep in mind, I am only one person with two hands. Generally, I can fill custom orders in about 2 weeks. The timing will vary depending on my current workload.
Payment
If the item will be shipping to an address within Washington State, Paypal will add tax to the item.
If you prefer to send a check, contact me for my address, however, I will not ship until the check has cleared.
Paypal is easy to use and free to you, the buyer. It is my preferred payment option.
Shipping
PDF files are emailed within 24 hours of payment.
My shipping days for sewn items are Tuesdays and Fridays. I ship after receiving payment. I like to use priority mail whenever possible. Bulky items will be mailed via Parcel Post.
Attention International Buyers (anyone outside the US)
Please keep in mind that we do not refund international customs fees, taxes, tariffs and duties charges. Please check your country's import regulations.
Refunds and Exchanges
To prevent copyright infringement, patterns are non-refundable.
Due to the nature of the use of baby items, baby items are non-returnable.
Handbags are returnable in unused condition, within 7 days of receipt, and with authorization. I have never had anyone want to return an item, but I thought it best to have a policy. To obtain return authorization, send me an email or an Etsy Convo. A small restocking fee will be deducted from any returns.
Custom and made-to-order items are made for you only and are non refundable.
Deposits made on custom items are non-refundable.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I do work with custom orders. If you find a bag you like, but would like me to make it in a different fabric for you, use the "request custom item" button.
I also do custom slip covers. Send me a convo if you are interested in something not already listed here.
