During the years, she worked on Artistic Recovery of furniture, created theatre costumes, specialized in fashion designer and nurtured the curiosity for the applied arts and techniques , such as mosaic, plating and wrought-iron, learned in the workshops of the best local artisans.
The love for Mosaic and the passion for fabrics brought her to explore new creative forms, such her interpretation of the great operas of the secession masters in a musive key.
C.R. Mackintosh, Pierre Chareau and in particular Klimt's masterpieces lit up with the “dressed” lamps in a refined interpretation of Klimt's clothings, exhibited and sold in Milan, Madrid, Copenaghen, at the F.I.M. (Valencia 2006), "Abitare il Tempo" (Verona 2006), "Euroluce" (Milan 2007), "Light + building" (Frankfurt 2008).
For the 'mosaic dressing' of her works, Barbara Liverani chose a techinque able to melt Ancient and Modernity.
With the usage of venetian vistreous pastes, Murano's golds and murrine according to the centuries-old school of bizantine mosaic, she creates objects of contemporary taste characterised by soft lines and the explosion of lights and colours.
