Sun Moon Lake is a collection of handcrafted cashmere quilts by the artist and designer Moonching Wu.
The label takes its name from twin lakes in mountainous central Taiwan, an area prized for both its serene beauty and its diverse ecosystem. Like the region of the world that inspired them, Wu’s designs
are beautiful yet retain a vital connection to the larger ecosystem we all share.
Wu was drawn to cashmere’s essential qualities -- its warmth, its weightlessness, its vibrancy. Amazed to discover the abundant supply of discarded cashmere, she reclaimed abandoned sweaters, refashioning the garments into scarves and blankets. Sun Moon Lake is a collection of truly bespoke items, crafted from a limited supply so that no piece is like any other.
