*I am keeping my old info below but I now live on Vancouver Island. I tumble most of the stones I find and some I trim or slice. As with all natural stones (even when tumbled) they are not perfectly shaped. They are all unique and one of a kind.

My love of collecting natural beach stones began way back as a young child. I have fond memories of my mom and dad taking our family camping on the Fraser River (British Columbia, Canada) where we would wander up and down the river bars looking for agates and unusual stones.

My grandfather and grandmother were even more serious than my parents about their rocks—both were avid rock hounds and my grandfather’s hobby was making stone jewellery.

I have spent many hours with my own two children (now adults) hunting for beautiful and interesting stones. It is a great way to spend time in nature.

I use a hand drill (Dremel 4000) to drill all the stones. The stones are mainly from the area where I live but now that I am on Etsy I have started collecting stones from family holidays to add to the collection. I have now added some West Coast stone necklaces and bracelets to my store—stones I use from different regions are labeled as such.

I love to use Fair Trade recycled glass to enhance some of my designs. They are not only beautiful but they feel good to wear too.

I have connected to wonderful people all over the world through Etsy—it’s been a great journey so far.
