Synapse Artworks features the work of Brian Besch, an artist working in ceramics, printmaking, and drawing based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Brian graduated with a BFA and Philosophy major from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003. His educational background inspired a polar aesthetic which drifts from highly designed functional ceramics to more conceptually driven prints. He consistently attempts to bleed the boundaries between art and philosophy, and attempts to push a medium into unconventional territory. Brian's ceramic vessels and sculpture have garnered local recognition, and have also made their way into juried exhibits nationally.

Please notify me in the notes section regarding any special shipping requests or instructions. I ship via Priority Mail; larger prints are rolled in mylar and sent in a tube, smaller ones sent flat in a rigid envelope - if you would prefer your print mailed flat regardless of its size, please specify. I'm happy to combine multiple items to save you on shipping costs. International buyers: please contact me directly for a shipping quote.
