We are a little coffee shop in Ketchikan, Alaska, located in beautiful and rainy Southeast. We do all of our own roasting with our Probat roaster. TGCBC's Shop Policies

Welcome

The Green Coffee Bean Company is a little coffee shop in Ketchikan, Alaska, located in beautiful and rainy Southeast. We do all of our own roasting with our Probat roaster.

We put a little bit of love into all the coffee we roast and we hope you can taste the difference.

We save our used coffee grounds and the chaff from our roasted coffee for our customers who want to use them in their gardens. We use both sides of paper for printing. We use recycled paper cups with insulation on the outside that's made from paper (but it feels like styrofoam! These cups are seriously awesome!). We use corn cups for our cold drinks. Our regular customers often bring their used coffee bags back and we keep refilling them with fresh beans. We give our empty burlap bags to fishermen to cut their fish on.

The list goes on and on! We're not called The GREEN Coffee Bean Company just for no reason!

Payment

We accept payment through PayPal only.

Payment must be made within three days. If I have not heard from you within that time frame, your sale will be canceled.

If you are a local buying through the Etsy shop, the transaction must be completed through Etsy. You must pay through PayPal. If you'd like to pick up your coffee order at the shop that's great! You will not be charged shipping for local pickup. We will either refund your shipping through PayPal or will make you a custom listing.

Shipping

Because your coffee is being sent from Alaska we use USPS Priority Mail flat rate boxes, which keeps shipping costs down. It may seem to cost a little more up front, but if you calculate shipping without using flat rate it's a whole lot more! Please don't let that deter you from trying our delicious coffee. Once you've tried it, you'll be hooked!

For our international friends, we have added Priority Mail flat rate shipping envelope prices to the 1lb coffees. It is $10.95 for Canada and Mexico and $12.95 for everywhere else.

Refunds and Exchanges

As this is a food item, returns are not accepted. All sales are final.

Do you have a wedding, party, or function coming up? We can provide 2oz bags of coffee, whole bean or ground, and can work with you to create a logo that will work.
