This all started with my friend Becky, when leading up to holiday season, she suggested I make some more acorns like I did last year. I forgot I made them last year so the next day I was in the shop making a few more. A few people commented on how they liked the design and there was a sale coming up so there I sold a few more. This lead to me making more and I started figuring out ways to make them faster. I stayed up in bed that night thinking of how to be more efficient in the shop so that I could lower the price. I used to have a small glass object as a kid and I remember it to this day and I really would like to be able to provide that same experience for all the kids now. The next shop day I was able to make them twice as fast and that really opened the door to the $21 price point. The quality and consistency has gone way up as goes the process of learning through repetition. I really enjoy making these and knowing that people love them too. Acorns are a special thing for many folk so it means a lot to be able to provide them with a keepsake.
