The boxwood bushes are now pushing out new growth. This makes some simply amazing wreaths for weddings and other events! Unfortunately the fresh growth will wilt in a short period(it can be trimmed off if desired). If you are looking for a lasting wreath and don't want to wait until the boxwood hardens off (about July), take a look at my new artificial wreaths!
Blaithin Blair Boxwood Wreaths is of the first boxwood wreath crafters on Etsy! These are are quality wreaths made with large amounts of boxwood in each wreath.
We were honored to be featured in the December issue of Southern Living magazine!

Boxwoods wreaths are great for gifts, weddings, showers, or just every day. Because I want each and every wreath to be perfectly lovely, I make these wreaths slowly and with care. Not made on an assembly line but carefully handcrafted. You will not be disappointed! Additional sizes are available, please send me a message if you have a special request!
The wreaths stay intact indefinitely! I have had some in my house for years while the wreaths outdoors tend to lose leaves after a year or so from the wind and rain. Boxwood is well known for it's staying ability. They don't shed like other greenery.
They do eventually dry but the time frame varies depending on the amount of sunlight they are in, the temperature, and humidity. Outdoors they will dry to a golden color usually after a few months. Indoors they will dry sooner but tend to stay green longer(due to less light).
