My mother crocheted throughout my childhood. She tried to teach me when I was younger. I remember making long chains. It didn't stick until I had my youngest child. I was stuck on the couch nursing her for six weeks with nothing to do, so I decided to follow a YouTube video to crochet a hat, and I was hooked! A few years later, I decided being able to crochet wasn't enough. I wanted to dye my own wool yarn to create a personalized product from start to finish, and I wanted to be able to knit, too! So, I started dying wool in my kitchen and taught myself to knit with some awesome resources. The rest, as they say, is history.
