Elizabeth Andersen’s preferred forms of payment are PayPal or direct checkout through our Etsy site.
It is not necessary to have a PayPal account to check out using PayPal.
Etsy gift cards are welcomed at Elizabeth Andersen.
Check or money orders are also accepted. Please send check or money order payments promptly after placing your order. Items will not ship until payment has been received and cleared. If payment is not received within five business days, Elizabeth Andersen will contact you to make arrangements.
If it is necessary to cancel an order, please contact Elizabeth Andersen so item(s) can be re-listed.
Items purchased and/or shipped in Illinois will be subject to sales tax.
Elizabeth Andersen appreciates your business and is committed to shipping out items within five to seven business days or most likely less, of receiving payment. Please contact Elizabeth Andersen if expedited service is required.
INTERNATIONAL, PR, HI and AK SHIPPING
Occasionally, it is impossible to figure shipping costs internationally or to outlying states. If shipping costs aren't included on a product listing page,
please contact Elizabeth Andersen with your mailing address for an accurate quote.
SHIPPING WITH ANOTHER ITEM
We DO combine shipping. Due to the varied nature of our merchandise, we cannot offer a flat rate on our listings for combined shipping. If you are interested in purchasing more than one item, please contact the shop for an accurate quote.
Packages will ship with whichever carrier offers the most security and best value, whether it be USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL or private carrier.
Free pick up is available in Batavia, Illinois 60510 (35 miles west of Chicago, near I-88.)
Gift wrapping and gift cards with a personal message are available, please inquire.

Refunds and Exchanges
Elizabeth Andersen gladly gives a refund if the item is not as expected or does not fit the customer’s intended use. It is required that the customer pays for return shipping and the item must be returned in its original condition before a refund can be given. Within five days of receipt, the item must be returned for a full refund or a exchange. Please notify Elizabeth Andersen that a return is being sent.
Please be sure to repack the item carefully! If the item is damaged in return transit, an insurance claim will need to be filed. If the claim is denied due to poor packing there is no recourse.
Returns are accepted as stated as above except in the instance when a price negotiation is made or a "best offer" is accepted by Elizabeth Andersen. In this instance, all sales are final.
Please contact Elizabeth Andersen immediately if an item arrives in damaged condition. If packaging looks damaged please photograph it carefully PRIOR TO opening.
The best way to prove damage through an insurance claim is with photographs of items and their packaging prior to shipping or in the case of damage.
Elizabeth Andersen understands that not every piece will be the perfect fit and that accidents do happen. In any case, the customer’s satisfaction and happiness is priority.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Many Elizabeth Andersen pieces are from an earlier time and have been used, loved and worn and therefore in an imperfect condition. This is the beauty of a vintage or refinished item. Elizabeth Andersen will take accurate photos and mention any area of concern with piece. There will be instances where we may not find something “an area of concern.” Elizabeth Andersen treats every transaction with honesty and in good faith. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us before purchasing and we will be happy to send additional photos and information to help with the decision to purchase.
