-Lucy Goose feather earrings (from our flock) are CRUELTY FREE in that they are molted by a flock of pet ducks and geese, and proceeds from Lucy Goose sales go toward feeding and caring for the flock. Each pair of earrings is unique and I must sometimes wait until another molt before finding matching feathers for a pair of earrings.

-Other feather pieces that are made from vintage or recycled (second hand, estate sale finds) feathers will be described so that you can choose to purchase complete cruelty-free or vintage. (Lucy Goose NEVER purchases feathers from commercial businesses or craft stores. All second hand feathers are random finds, mostly from estate sales, and vintage fly-tying supplies found in estate sale garages and attics. We have come to the conclusion that we can grab these and make something from the life of the bird that was taken--and they won't be made into bait to further kill other animals, either.)

-I do not use feathers from endangered or protected species such as eagles, migratory birds, etc. All of my feathers are naturally molted from my flock, donated from Majestic Waterfowl Sanctuary, or vintage/up-cycled and chanced upon at estate sales occasionally.

-Everything is made in a SMOKE-FREE environment.

-Earrings are works of art presented by nature AND my ability to select colors and shapes; therefore, the colors and shapes of earrings may vary slightly as each feather is different and unique.

-All earrings come with rubber earring backs.

-If I do not hear from you or receive payment within ten days, I will relist the item you have put in your cart.
