Featuring handmade clay sculpturesdepicting life's journeys including love, grief, joy, and heartache.

I have walked a path through darkness to light and I thank everyone who has joined me in that walk and experienced it with me through my evolving artwork. Through clay, my aim is to capture the spectrum of emotion, from very bright to very raw. My sculptures may make you laugh, cry, reel or heal but ultimately my goal is that they confront feeling in the face and are something tangible and touchable to relate to.

Those who are familiar with my work recall my reputation for doing custom orders and made to order pieces. At this point, due to the high volume I am working in and the time intensive nature of custom orders, I will no longer be taking these pieces on. It has been a privilege to custom make hundreds of pieces for clients along the way, but at this point I cannot take on this work and am thankful for the time I was once able to do it. Hopefully I have created a piece that speaks specifically to you.

I recently read an entry in my journal from 2001 where I lamented entering adulthood and losing grasp of my dreams. Specifically, I had written that the last ambition of my youth that I was holding onto was to have a small business where I could sell my artwork to the world. In the next sentence I chalked it off as a pipedream. Well, here I am.

My name is D. Antonia Truesdale and to date I have artwork in all 50 Unites States, and in 35 countries across the world. Some of my pieces are used around the nation in sandplay therapy. If I ever could have pictured myself doing a job that is important which I also I love from my core, this is it. A dream incarnate.

Etsy is now my full time job, and I share that time with chasing around 2 wee children and playing with my hubby. Lastly, we have two happy chinchillas to add to the mix. I am a very busy, very happy girl who is living her dream (minus the part about living in a giant tree house with a winding staircase carved up and around the trunk. That one particular dream never came to fruition and I am most definitely okay with that!).

Payment

I accept Paypal and credit card payments (you can make a credit card payment through paypal without having a paypal account and will find it is user friendly).

Shipping

On ready to ship items, I ship within 1 week. This timeline is actually padded and I am usually able to turn the orders around much quicker, but since my shop volume has steadily increased it is hard for me to predict how many sold items I will have at any given time so I need to give myself and you a cushioned estimate! I would much rather exceed your expectations with my timeline than not meet them. :) Any made to order pieces listed may take up to 3 weeks for the creation process, so please be patient and I create your piece with tender care and inspiration. <3

International orders are shipped International First Class. If you are looking for upgraded shipping, let me know and I can bill you separately via Paypal. If you are an international customer and would like to purchase insurance on shipping, please let me know. Seller is not responsible for condition of uninsured international packages, or any customs fees your country may charge upon delivery.

Refunds and Exchanges

On ready-made items, I will refund an item so long as it is returned within 10 business days in its original form. The refund will be sent after the item is received here. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. If you would like to purchase additional insurance, please let me know.


Should an item ever arrive damaged, please contact me and I will help you and ensure that your experience brings you both satisfaction and a beautiful, in tact product. Shipping maladies are few and far between but if the issue should present itself, you know where to find me. :)

As an artist, I pour myself into each piece that I sculpt and it is my hope that is reflected in my work. I have a creative process and flow which is interrupted when I try to work within someone elses ideas and or visions. Hopefully I will create a piece that speaks specifically to you.

If a made-to-order piece is listed, I am able to make color accommodations but I cannot take on any add-ons (such as the addition of hair, wings, jewels, extra people, anything that is not already a part of the sculpture shown in the image listings). While these seem to be easy accommodations to make, in the volume I work in these pose as speedbumps for me and I run the risk of not being able to turn around pieces in the timelines I am committed and required to create within. I kindly ask that as you check out a made to order piece, you refrain from specifying any add-ons that are not already included in the listing. Any made to order pieces that are not currently listed in the shop are not available at this time but may be at a later date.
