My husband and I were laying in bed one evening talking and surfing through channels on the television. We stumbled upon a show on the History Channel called American Pickers and eagerly watched for the next hour. We were intrigued with all the dusty treasures just laying around in old barns and sheds. In a semi-joking manner, my husband suggested he'd like to travel the country and go picking when the kids are all grown up.

The next summer we started going to local auctions for fun. We grew more and more excited over all the history being bought and sold. Lost treasures from the past that many seem to carelessly disregard spoke to us and we started bringing them home. We are both fond of antique glass and china; impressed by its quality and clarity compared to age, and how something so old could survive being used, boxed and shuffled around though the years. Over the next couple of years we had started to amass an impressive collection of Early American Pressed Glass - EAPG, elegant glass serving pieces, antique elegant stemware, and antique china. We are especially keen on antique Haviland China.

Fast forward to the summer of 2012. We arrived home from an amazing vacation in the Black Hills with the kids to find my husband had been laid off from work. I had recently stumbled upon Etsy and decided to start listing some of our treasures to make some much needed income. It has since spiraled into a successful full time job that we both love and enjoy!
