The Ripe Word is a collection of paintings and drawings created by Bethany Suckrow.

A B O U T : My artwork is inspired by my mother, Tina, a metastatic breast cancer patient who passed away on January 2, 2012.

Some of the text incorporated into the artwork is poetry written by myself, some are quotes from poetry or prose that inspires me and speaks to life as I see it : beautiful, brief, and sacred.

Please note that the credit for the text is listed with each item's description. Each piece was crafted with the hope that you, the buyer, will be reminded to live a joyful and healthy life, and that you will remember the legacy of those that taught you to live well, just as my mother did for me.

Y O U R O R D E R :

- Are you purchasing a painting to give as a gift? Specify this in a note with your order, and I will ship it within 48 hours to ensure that it arrives in a timely manner. All other orders will be shipped within 3 days' time of your order placement, if not sooner.

- Please note that the actual product you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the order image on Etsy. This is because each painting is handmade. If you feel that the product you receive differs greatly from the order image, contact me and I will do my best to rectify the situation.

- You can request a custom painting! Do you have an image or quote that you think would make a great Ripe Word painting? Contact me with your design concept and I will work with you to create a custom piece.

- You can also request a custom listing. Want to order more than one of the same piece? Contact me and I will reserve a custom listing that you can purchase at your convenience. If you intend to give these as gifts, please allow time for me to complete the requested number of pieces, as I may not have enough in stock prior to your request.
