At "The Tiny Tuffet" you will find original handmade miniatures in 1:12 scale. I enjoy making minis that are romantically pleasing or that have old country charm. I love primitive decor, old Americana decor and anything you may find in a farmhouse. As a contrast, I also like science so from time to time you may see something strange. :)
One of my favorite pieces of furniture is the Tuffet. A Tuffet is a tufted, skirted ottoman that can be used as a place to sit, a place to rest your feet, or a place to set a tray of goodies. It can be a centerpiece to a beautiful scene such as a living room, bedroom, bridal boutique or florists shop. The tuffet is versatile, feminine, comfortable and decorative. The wide variations in fabric color, pattern and size make it fit into just about any miniature space. Many hours are devoted to making each one of them special.
The miniatures I sell are one-of-a-kind pieces intended for decorative use, not as toys or for young children.
