This is a story of beauty from ashes; redemption after the rubble. I am a thirsty heart who is flawed but saved by grace.

As long as I can remember, I have loved words. Words can build people up and speak sweet truth. They can be an overflow of your heart, bringing both wisdom and comfort.

But words can also tear people apart. They can bite and linger; single handedly assault and destroy. They can chain you up and sit you back down.

I spent a good portion of my life being told a lot of things and never speaking about a lot of things. The wounds of my story had chained me up and silenced every ounce of me. But as He does, the Lord will not settle with you living a life in chains. It is through my story and ashes from my past that the Lord has bound up my heart, healed my wounds and redeemed what was once lifeless.

Since then, I have slowly but very surely gotten my voice back. And with that, God has put a passion and desire in my heart to use words to love people, glorify Him and build people up. Oh how I will shout of God's love, freedom and pursuit over my life!

Every word, every image that I create is an overflow of the freedom that I have experienced. Design and creative art has always been engrained in me-truly, it is where I come alive.

I live in Lexington, Kentucky with my sweet husband and two amazing kids. On any given day you can find me running, playing with my kids, having an epic dance party or sitting on the back porch with my friends and family under twinkle lights. Always twinkle lights.

I love creating things that build people up, that make them laugh or simply feel nostalgic. I love designing words that will go on a sign to adorn their walls to remind them of true things when life gets hazy and unsettled, in the dark and waiting. Mainly, in the words of Jay Z, "I'm just tryna' change the color of your mood ring"
