This little shop is filled with modern and playful Children’s clothing all handmade by me in my Chicago apartment. I’m a city mouse living and sewing to the background "music" of the L train.

Thumb & Pinky is named in honor of my now 12 year old daughter who found comfort in sucking her thumb while rubbing my pinky finger.

I have a MFA in Fiber and a love affair with fabric. I’ve chosen only the fabrics that make my heart skip a beat for the children’s clothing you’ll see in my shop. My goal is to design clothes that will grow with your child and last through many seasons. These clothes can be layered and dressed up or down. Easy clothes … no fuss here, just lots of style.
