♥ Thanks for visiting my shop. Tongue n' Cheeky is a new shop of mine, having had a successful run with my previous shop Twin J's.

♥ I’ve always been a crafty gal whose enthusiasm for the arts crosses over many lines. I’m a singer/songwriter, http://www.janellerene.com, a repurposer of all things old and in need of love, I am a treasure hunter and the cleanest painter this side of the Mississippi. I moved to Los Angeles several years ago to surround myself with creative thinkers and I’m so glad I did. I have a great group of friends from designers to singers, to writers and model makers, to makeup artists and actors. Everyone I know makes a living from their inspired endeavors. I’m grateful every day that I live in a virtual vortex of creative energy because it helps me constantly have new ideas for exciting products and projects in a wide variety of mediums.

I find inspiration in everything, but the pieces I create are pieces I would want to own, wear or display myself. I don’t create anything just because I think someone else might want it. I put a little sass and whimsy into everything in my life, my environment and my art.
