TriPlyFibers

Tradition with a modern Twist...Yarn and Roving

TriPlyFibers' Shop Announcement

Enjoy tradition? I do, and at Tri-Ply Fibers we do everything by hand, I even shear most of the sheep, alpacas, llamas, and goats my yarn is spun from. I like natural colors and blending fibers. Since I am a shearer, I can guarantee all my fleece is from well kept animals, treated humanly during shearing, and the fleece is not chemically treated during processing. Because these fibers are "right off the farm" an occasional bit of vegetable Matter (VM) may be found in my yarn, even though I make great pains to take out as much as I can. Enjoy my hand spun yarns and I would love to see finished projects any time.

My Roving supply is from two farms I have partnered with. A Local Valley of the Sun farm that has wonderful fleece and well-kept Tunis and CVM sheep. They are Woolhalla Tunis farm (www.aztunis.com), Queen Creek, AZ. I am featuring the Tunis breed on my shop because I am interested in rarer more primitive breeds, as you will notice with what fleece I include in my yarns. The other farm is Cunnington Farms (www.cunningtonfarms.com), located in Moab, Utah's red rock country. They also have wonderful fleece and many breeds of sheep including Tunis. Although I do not shear for Cunnington Farms I have had the pleasure to get know them, and know I am distributing a quality product to make beautiful yarn with.

These fibers I have chosen to feature in my shop blend so nicely with other types of fiber across the board and make wonderful wearable yarn that is durable to last years if not generations.
