Welcome! TrinKnitty is sparked by the revelry I feel when working with beads, wire, fabric and photographs. I’ve recently taken to merging these materials to create my Miscellany in Resin necklaces. I also combine a variety of materials like wood, glass, metal, stone, porcelain, and clay to create my wire wrapped and strung jewelry. You’ll notice a trend towards the asymmetrical in my wrapped and strung pieces.
From photographing peeling paint and rusty things in my neighborhood to cutting up a vintage apron for the fabric, from scouring bead stores to stopping at yard sales, I am perpetually hunting and gathering materials for my creations. I love coming upon old materials, pairing them with new, and turning them into one of a kind items that carry history and stories within.
A lot of my pieces are made with needle-workers (knitters, crocheters, quilters and seamstresses) in mind, including my stitch marker necklaces.
