Background: I am a self-taught designer and crafter who after many years marketing in the photographic industry semi-retired with my husband to the lovely country community of Mount Mee, Southeast Queensland, Australia. Update: My husband and I have recently relocated to a charming central Queensland town and happily live in our own 'time portal' of a renovated 1940s cottage. We enjoy many morning and evening walks along the rain forest tracks, roadways, byways and cane tracks (out of cane cutting season). When time permits, we love to hang out and encourage magical time portal moments with our grandsons as they transition from babies to kids and into adulthood.

When I'm not in my engine room designing and sewing you will find me out and about in our community for Queensland Rural Fire Service and Red Cross as a volunteer assisting with bushfires, floods and other community disasters. 🚒🔥
