I like things to be pretty and I like alot of color. But the colors NEED to match! In fact, looking back, the quest for aesthetically pleasing surroundings has always been the driving force behind my collecting AND creating .

I became involved with vintage years ago as I lamented a truly ugly kitchen. Oh! It was so mismatched! Money was tight, and after finally opting for an eclectic farm-house look, my quest began.

Being on an almost non-existant budget I began to hit garage sales, thrift shops and any other place I could think of to find an assortment of kitchen oddities. Mismatched had become my theme. I prefer to call it 'Blended' now. I began to discover that my vintage treasures had a unique beauty and charm. I also discovered, very much to my delight, that my quirky finds were worth more than if I had purchased new. What a bonus!

I became hooked and began to listen to those little voices that would say, " Psst, UknowUneedAnother. " Another treasure would follow me home.

I took my first floral design course over 20 years ago. There's a universal appeal and quite honestly, being able to achieve a finished project quickly, is a plus. I work with silks and strive to find stems that just might fool Mother Nature. I am in awe of what nature has designed. And with the silks the beauty of the piece can last for years without the debris of a dying vase of flowers or a possible allergic reaction.

I also enjoy crocheting, breeding tropical fish, gardening and cooking. I enjoy creating table scapes by turning the colors of my china and glassware into my paint. It's probably how I acquired so much.

It has become a tradition to craft a new line of Christmas ornaments yearly. So keep an eye out for them; I never know which medium will strike my fancy.

I understand that buying depression glass and other collectible vintage items over the internet requires a level of trust that isn't needed when you can actually handle an item that you've discovered at a show or in an antique shop.

I have over 20 years experience buying and selling within this area.

To the best of my knowledge, the merchandise in my shop is authentic. I research my items and strive to describe things accurately. I will point out any flaws that I notice and give you as much information as possible. If I have left anything out that is important to you, please get in touch with me with any concerns that you may have. If I have made a mistake and inadvertently misrepresented an item I will gladly refund your money.

I cannot guarantee that my finds have led a pet or smoke free existence. This isn't a problem with glassware and other non porous items. Plastics, wood and fabric can absorb odors, and dependent upon a given item, I might not be able to clean certain items, especially if there are original labels and packaging involved.
