These Handmade, Hand Poured, Custom Candles Creations are Inspired by YOUR Imagination. The buyer has a lot of input, such as, the color, scent, wax type & adding little things to the gel candles, such as: embeddable, photos or just shells, to really make their candle shine. The Buyer is the Creator of the Candle & I am just the Assembler.

A little about me- I am a wife & a Stay At Home Mom of two beautiful little girls (7 & 4 years old, as of Jan 2010).
I have been making and creating candles since 2000. My mom helped me make candles in the beginning & still does when I get busy. We worked out of her kitchen until my supplies started taking over! So now I work out of my kitchen.
I am a born and raised Charlottean (Charlotte, NC). I have been married for 9 years and been with my hubsand for 12 years (as of 2009)! Before candles I worked in jewelry retail for over 10 years. Then in 2000 I got to follow my passion.

Welcome To Valerie's Essentials, a place where you get to be a part of the making process. You get to add you own special touch to the candle; you can pick the scent, the color, add a special item or picture if you would like.
We will try to incorporate your unique idea into your candle, to make it your special creation.

Payment

We accept Paypal, checks and money orders.
If you pay by check we will wait 3 days until it clears. We will ship your candle(s) with in a few days of cleared payment.

Any purchases made without payment will be canceled after five days.

The shipping charge is not just the postage but the box, bubble wrap, tape and items like these.

Shipping

Shipping will be by USPS.
If you collect your candle locally or we meet, there won't be a shipping charge! Please let me know ahead of time and I will change the shipping charge before ordering.

Refunds and Exchanges

Please contact me within 7 days of purchase if you are unhappy with your candle. Each return is handled on a case to case basis. However buyer will be responsible for shipping. Please e-mail me at Kapaula1 [!at] Bellsouth.net or Convo me here.

The most important thing for is for the customer to be happy with the candle they helped create.
