Payment
PROMPT Payment is appreciated. My primary form of payment is through PayPal.
Very SAFE - Very Efficient - & You do not even have to be a PayPal member in order to make a purchase!
PayPal does not require you to set up an account to purchase from our Etsy store. You can simply make the payment using your credit card and PayPal acts as a go-between.
Just follow these 3 Easy Steps:
Step 1: Go to your receipt and click on "Pay with PayPal"
Step 2: Click on "Don't have a PayPal account"
Step 3: Follow the steps to complete the credit card information and finalize payment.
If payment is not received within 2-3 days, I will contact you to see if there is a problem. If the problem cannot be resolved, or if you no longer want to purchase the item, I will cancel the sale and re-list the item.
Shipping
Purchases are shipped within 3 business days after payment. If there is a delay in shipping for any reason I will contact you.
Within the United States, I ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class mail with Tracking. This does NOT include insurance on your item(s). If you would like your item(s) insured; please leave a note in the “message to seller” section when you check out, or contact me.
INTERNATIONAL Shipping
Shipping to international destinations can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. I ship USPS First Class International mail. Please keep in mind that the laws of customs vary greatly, and there may be restrictions and/or customs fees, import duties, or taxes. Viva Nova Chicago is not responsible for any customs fees or duties that may be charged in your country.
If you would like insurance or expedited shipping on your package please contact me before purchasing and I will find out how much extra this will cost.
Refunds and Exchanges
Viva Nova Chicago wants you to be a happy and satisfied customer. If you are not happy with your item for some reason, please contact me first. Each return or exchange is handled on an individual basis.
Returns or exchanges of unworn, original condition jewelry can be made within 7 days of the purchase date. When returning the item to me, please package the item carefully to ensure it is delivered in its original condition. Return shipping costs are not refundable. After I receive the item back I will mail a replacement piece or issue a refund through PayPal.
Please note: For sanitary reasons – earrings cannot be returned.

Green is GREAT! , I use recycled mailers & bubble wrap, to insulate my Gem Friends on their trip to YOU! Please let me know in advance if you require different packaging.
"Gift" Wrap & Shipping upgrade options are available for a reasonable fee.
I DO make jewelry for "Young Adults" NOT Young Children.

ONE YEAR + 4 MONTHS GUARANTEE
If your item becomes "Unstrung" for whatever reason,within this time frame, I will happily re-string it, for Minimal S&H costs on the condition that I've been sent all the original beads & findings. If all components of the original item are not available, we can "sort" what is the best possible solution, lowest cost & highest "HAPPY" result possible at this time. This is due to the fact that not ALL items are still available for such work. I promise, PROMISE, to do the Very Best I Can for you!
RE-purpose
Sometimes, you still love the beads, but just want to re-do, re-style ... Your Primary Purpose has shifted and though some stones are still working well, but you feel, even as you've been cleansing & caring for them properly, some NEW faces would be interesting to add. We can work with that,
.925 Sterling Silver & Pure Copper Metals Care TIPS:
It is NOT a "Good idea" to use the DIP liquid jewelry cleaner,it's too abrasive & will damage the finish by remove the outer coating. I found this out, the hard way, so you needn't.
Please do not wear this jewelry when swimming, showering. or sun- bathing. Unsuspected chemicals & cleansers can have odd reactions with various fittings findings used in Viva Nova Chicago Originals.
It is recommended that you put your jewelry on last after using lotions, perfume or hairspray that could also damage the metals or gemstones.
