My Etsy shop was born out of my creativity and desire to branch out of the commercial textile industry and start my own business.
I have explored many media’s and I enjoy working with silk and dyes and also painting with oils on canvas.

I love wearable art and a scarf is a great way to turn a dull outfit in to a gorgeous fashion statement. My hope is to capture beauty and to have colors that will sing to you and compliment you. I believe woman at any age can be glamorous. Color can bring out the real you, so what better way than to wear color around your neck and my scarves are one of a kind just like you.
I am a one woman operation, who does everything from the designing painting to the photography and shipping. So you know I care from the moment your order is placed until it is delivered. I want happy customers and I want you to look great in my scarves I welcome commissioned work and will be happy to make a piece just for you.

Graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Textile Design, Vivien has over 30 years in the industry as silk painter, designer, colorist and teacher. As an award-winning artist Vivien shows her work in galleries and exhibits from New York to Maryland. She has also participated in public art exhibits and her work has been published in two books by Tuckman and Janas “Best of Silk Painting “ and "The Fine Art Of Painting On Silk " she was also on the cover and inside the magazine “The Village Connection” and in the New York Times art reviews July 2003. and also again in August 2012. She teaches silk painting on Long Island New York.
