My shop consists merely of 2 sections: I offer original art work and I can offer ♥Fine Art Prints♥ to you.
These prints are on 420 g/m cotton canvas, mounted on stretcher frames with wooden wedges for retension, gallery wrapped and ready to be hung. After an odyssey of bad experiences I finally found a company in town who is delivering excellent work. So if you would like to purchase a fine art print of my work rather than the original please feel free to contact me - nearly anything is possible...
There is only a very limited size variation in this shop. If you are interested in different sizes please don't hesitate to convo me for prices. And I can offer you a nice discount if you would like to order more than one piece.

On top of that you will find original art - unique paintings on silk, acrylic paintings on canvas, rayon and paper, art quilts and others and exquisite original wood carvings.
I offer various media: traditionally mounted paintings, silk scrolls with handmade wooden dowels, silk carvings and other wall hangings.

"What are silk carvings?" you might ask.
Silk Carvings© are silk reliefs or silk sculptures. The surface of the silk is transformed completely into a relief. The upper layer of a silk carving usually is one single piece of silk sculptured into a 3-dimensional form. Additionally various painting techniques are used to create different visual impacts and to enhance the impression of depth and distance (trompe d'oeuil). Thus silk can paradoxically look like stone or metal or any other material. The result is a fine art silk sculpture that appears different from any angle and changes again depending on the incidence of light. Larger Silk Carvings© are hung on a dowel through a sleeve on the back. Small works such are mounted on a stretcher frame. They can be hung with or without additional frame.

The painted Silk Scrolls which are offered here are all shipped with 2 handmade wooden dowels, each, painted with black acrylic lacquer and which are pushed through the "sewn" tubes on the top and the bottom of the scroll. The upper dowel includes the hooks so that the scroll is ready to be hung. These dowels can easily be removed and replaced by others if you like (f.e. with some sophisticated acrylic dowels).
The scrolls could be mounted on a frame as well so that only the painted middle image is presented.
