Water Me Not! is no longer just life-like flower creations. In 2010 I was asked to create a peacock feather boutonniere and fell in love with the magestic Peacock Feather!
I enjoy working with feathers so much and have been blessed to be able to create a variety of different items, my shop has become an 80% peacock/feather shop =)
With my feather designs, I am all about the details and custom creating packages that will compliment your color and theme design. I take the extra time to work with you to create the perfect peacock/feather package! I really take pride in the fact that I put a lot of time in each item to make sure you are getting a quality piece that will not fall apart. Most of my feather items have backings on them to help them from splitting. Feathers are not that exspensive, however finding the perfect feather size, matching feathers and putting them together just right is where the pricing comes in. I buy hundreds of feathers and it feels like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack at times to find the perfect size, shape, color to create and complete the request at hand. I make sure each feather is prestine! It is so important to me that each item is truly the best that it can be for such special events. I enjoy the outcome and the positive feedback from my etsy clients when they're package arrives. I have a variety of items to choose from:Boutonnieres, bouquets with feathers, corsages, guest books, pens, pillows, cake decorations, baskets, shoe-clips, broaches, hair-pieces,pomanders and gift boxes to name more than a few and most of them can be made to compliment eachother and your big day!
I apologize that I have very little flower designs on my shop at the moment, I am in the process of creating new designs. =)
All of my Water Me Not! designs are so life-like, it will be as if you were holding fresh flowers. They stay true to their name "Water Me Not!" A key part of my talent is having an eye for Faux flowers that look the most realistic when put together. I love to watch people as they smell my flowers and are puzzled as to why they don't smell. Then comes the excitement once they realize they are not real. I would love for you to experience them for yourself. If it does not appear fresh, you won't see it in my shop! :)
****************Each item on my shop is made to order. I make each item myself and send pictures of my work during the design process if necessary and definately before I ship. =)
I do ask that you convo me with the date you need the items by and helpful details before purchasing to make sure I can accomodate your request.
At that time, you can let me know if you would like your item shipped first class or priority shipping. Each item comes with tracking in the United States only. *******************
A 50% DEPOSIT is required upon placing any order and the balance needs to be paid within 5 days after your order is completed and posted in the reserve section. I will convo you at that time. Please see my policy page for more details.
***Most of my flowers and feathers are photographed in natural light. But do note that certain color tones can change in photography (especially the blues and purples). If you ever have a concern or question of the true shade of a color, I can mail you a petal, feather or ribbonsample if time permits.***
