I'm Amanda and I live in sunny central Oregon with my husband Dustin and our 2 little ones, Lucy and Lincoln.

I recently changed my etsy shop name from Violet to Wild Plums...I needed a fresh start since I wanted to take things in a slightly different direction. My new focus is on natural fibers and supplies, sustainability and staying true to myself and what I love creating!

I started spinning a few months ago and something clicked...I LOVE the process of spinning and using natural fibers. I'm learning more and more. I also enjoy playing with vintage textiles and supplies, upcycling unloved clothing and hand sewing. I home school my daughter Lucy using a Waldorf based curriculum so the process of making Waldorf inspired toys and playthings for children is very dear to my heart.

Basically this shop is a big ol' smorgasbord of everything I love and enjoy making. :)
