My name is Anna, and I have lived in and traveled to many places. Now that I have a family of my own, I have returned to my birth place, Alaska. Our breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful, and caring community is such a nurturing place for children.

The Waldorf-style dolls that I work, with love, are also a most nurturing companion for a young child. I sew the dolls with all-natural materials, and the wool batting with which they are stuffed, retain the scent and loving warmth of the boy or girl who take hold of them.

A child’s doll, is their image of a human being. It is very important as parents, to show our children how to treat their dolls tenderly, just as we would treat any other person. The way to treat anyone, is with respect. Their doll to them is a lovely, cuddly person who will be a real friend for a long time. Nothing is more soothing or comforting to a child than their cherished doll.
