I had a great experience working with Cindy to recreate a beloved family blanket that had been destroyed by some kittens as a gift for my husband. Cindy was very communicative throughout the process, asking questions and sharing photos of the progress. The finished product is of beautiful quality. I consider de Winkel van Cinkel as some kind of alter ego of mine. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator from The Netherlands, practically almost always sitting behind my computer, only getting up for lunch or for doing some household chores (I work as a freelancer from home).

I've always enjoyed creating things. Through the years it switched from drawing, writing, clay, baking, back to drawing, baking and so on. But a couple of years ago when I picked up the idea of making a crochet blanket I could not foresee that I'd get so hooked :)

Apart from the crocheting itself, I really enjoy the search for pretty colored yarn, thinking of the color combinations I can make with them and how it will look in someones home.

EU CUSTOMERS
When I receive your (ready to ship) order, (after completion) it will be shipped within 1-2 working days. Your purchase should arrive within 7 - 14 working days, depending on if it is small mail or a package.

CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE EU
When I receive your (ready to ship) order, (after completion) it will be shipped within 1-2 working days. Your purchase should arrive within 9 - 18 working days, depending on if it is small mail or a package.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING OPTION
If you are in a hurry, you can contact me for the costs of faster shipping for your package. With the expedited shipping option, your package is guaranteed to arrive within 5-6 working days. Please note that this does not include the turnaround time when you order a made to order blanket.

Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

Because crocheting is hand work, all sizes are approximate. When folded for a while the acrylic yarn may shrink a bit in itself, but when in use it stretches out again.

Care instructions

The blankets are washable on cold temperature, gentle cycle/handwash.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All blankets come wrapped in clear plastic foil with a bow for protection during their trip. They are shipped in a cardboard box.

Tracking shipment

All blankets are shipped with sign for delivery, unless you request otherwise. The tracking number and website will be provided through Etsy in your email when the package is shipped. Please be aware that buyer is responsible for keeping track of the delivery of the package.

Returned packages

Please make sure that the provided address and recipient on the order is correct, as this is where the package will be shipped to. I can not be held responsible for returned packages due to an incorrect address or not picking it up from the post office within USPS's time frame when you are not home. If this is the case, you can either choose to have your item being resend to you by paying for the extra shipping through PayPal, or you can request a refund for the item, minus the paid for by seller shipping costs.
