My name is Debra and I have worked for over 20 years as a social worker. However, I have always had a creative outlet that involved jewelry making. About a year ago, I had one of those stressful but life changing experiences that transform your outlook on life! As a result, I made a promise to myself to find a way to create a life for myself where I can combine my talents as someone who facilitates emotional healing, with my more creative side. I also have a special needs child who has always shown an affinity for crystals and rocks. Some of my work uses local raw gems and minerals we have gathered ourselves. I believe that crystals and stones can have a positive impact on healing. I began creating my line of jewelry and Wired Redhead Jewelry was born. I also enjoy making steampunk style jewelry out of recycled and re-purposed materials. Good for us and for the planet!
I have been touched by the interest shown by customers in the symbolism of each piece. It brings me great joy when the pendants and the customers somehow “find” each other.
