More on fragrances! I think, somehow, I ordered sandalwood for a friend who wanted it last winter, and managed to never get it listed in my fragrance list. So, if you were looking for it... I have sandalwood fragrance!
Also, a friend at work was curious about the saffron and honey scent. She was worried it would be a little too sharp or pungent. She had the brilliant idea to mix it with vanilla. It's *amazing*. I carry a few fragrances that aren't my personal favorites because my customers like it, and the saffron is one. But with the vanilla mellowing the sharper notes of the saffron, it's a really, really amazing scent. Think about giving that combo a try the next time you order!

A few new fragrances!
I was restocking a few of the more popular fragrance oils that I use and getting a few new molds and my awesome supplier sent me not one, but TWO full ounce samples. :)
So I'm now stocking lemon and violet. Lemon... sort of self-explanatory, right? The violet is a very rich, deep, sweet floral. I'd love to start working with them, so feel free to order products with these scents (alone or in combination with any of the other scents I carry!)

So it's come to this... I am now receiving upwards of 4 messages a week from people who want me to send them a product for free so that they can 'review' it on their website/youtube channel/facebook page, etc...
I am not interested in these promotions. If you send me a request for free items for a site like this, I will be forwarding it to Etsy's abuse team as spam.
I'm sure some of the requests are legitimate and maybe these reviews work for other people, but the sheer numbers of them that I have been receiving recently just makes it look like a lot of people are trying to get something for nothing. And I don't want to get into the business of deciding who's a legitimate 'product reviewer' and who's trying to scam Etsy artists. So I'm going to make an executive decision to just not be involved in any of them. Thank you.

2012 - Starting off with some Ups and Downs.
I know I normally spend a little more time keeping my shop up to the minute and lately I've been a little behind in getting new listings up or in reorganizing the shop after something sells.
2012 has started with some real ups and downs and both have taken away from my shop time.
Big 'Up' - after quite a while of looking, I finally started a new job. I love the job, but it has longer hours than I'm used to. What that means for you is that most of my custom orders get done the weekend after they're placed and shipped the Monday or Tuesday after that. If you're in a really big rush, I'm happy to accomodate you, just let me know I need to step it up.
Big 'Down's - So many of you have been incredibly gracious in wishing my sick little girl ferret, Gaia, well when you order. Unfortunately at the beginning of February Gaia finally succumbed to the effects of her two cancers. I miss her like crazy. On top of that, in early January one of my boys, Kári, was diagnosed with one of the two cancers Gaia had. Adrenal cancer. So he's on treatment for that now. So if you were ordering stuff from me to support my rescue ferrets, well, we can still use your help. Kári's treatments cost around $100 a month and in the next year or so he'll need an $800 surgery. So we'd appreciate your continued support.
