I make everything myself on my industrial equipment. I have a pretty amazing studio in Detroit. I built a small sewing facility, Motor City Sewing, to produce my line.
Wound was created to give clever, daring, iconoclastic alternatives to menswear. Wound follows the philosophy of wabi-sabi, finding beauty in the imperfect, keeping us humble within nature. You'll notice this in small details like a raw edge or asymmetrical hem. This is what I hope will make each piece an enduring part of your wardrobe. Wound exists because there are still rules left to be broken.
Most recently, WOUND exhibited Spring/Summer 2010: Poet Warrior in the Rivera Court at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Each piece will be listed with sizing information, as one-of-a-kind.
