Yarnarchy's Shop Announcement

Mother's Day Sale! All of my yarn club memberships are discounted through Mother's Day! Take advantage of the annual sale as the the normal price will be increasing in May, so it's double savings through the 13th.

Buy 6 Get 1 Free! For those customers planning a larger project, for Etsians who make items to sell in their own shops, or for those with a yarn appetite larger than their pocketbook (I think we may all fit into that category)--the buy 6 get 1 free promotion can be really helpful. Buy 6 skeins and get the 7th of equal or lesser value for free-normally I choose the freebie but I'm more than happy to take requests. This is about a 15% discount, and brings the average price per skein down from $20 to about $17.

Thanks for stopping by! April is a busy month and I'll be listing new colorways every few days. I will also be expanding my handpainted line a bit so watch for several new commercially spun handpainted fingerling yarns in a variety of gorgeous colors. For those of you who like discounts (who doesn't?) visit my blog at www.yarnarchy.wordpress.com to find the April coupon code. I also offer a coupon code for 10% off to customers who send project photos that I can post on my blog.

I also have another shop wickedwenchdesigns.etsy.com which features handmade and vintage clothing and other items. Also check out www.kitschenqueen.etsy.com for fantabulous kitsch!

Shipping costs have skyrocketed! I am so sorry for my international customers, but I have to raise my shipping rates. We've had a few rate increases in the previous years but the most recent one was a humdinger. I've been charging $3.50 for the first skein and just absorbing the extra charge of about 75 cents plus shipping materials, but I can no longer do it. Shipping one skein to Australia has jumped from $4.25 to nearly $6.50 for one skein! I have changed my shipping rates to reflect this but I advise all international customers to do two things in order to cut costs:
1. Buy in bulk -when pricing three skeins, it appears that the cost plummets to about 3.70 per skein for shipping instead of $6.50.
2. Convo me with your order before purchasing. I am more than happy to set up a reserved order for you, assemble the package, and have it weighed at the post office so that I may offer the exact (and hopefully less expensive) shipping cost.
