Welcome to my shop!

Yarnsandmusings's Shop Announcement

My shea buttah is made from 100% natural ingredients-nothing artificial. A little goes a long way. Put a little in your hand, let it melt and rub-it goes on greasy and then immediately soaks into your hands for instant moisture that won't stain clothing or feel sticky.

Many have used it for eczema and diaper rash on their little ones (unscented). I am not a doctor, but those who use it swear by it for eczema. ETA: From a new medication I am using, I developed a patch of eczema on my chin. I used my shea buttah on the area and the itching stopped immediately. I discussed it with my doctor today and the ingredients in the shea, and he agreed it was working on clearing it up. I prefer to use this rather than the prescription steroid cream and only use a tiny amount twice a day.

Also works great for after tattoo care-no redness, moisturizes instantly, won't stain clothes or make it sticky on your clothing. You let a little melt in your hand and rub gently on the tattoo-keeps it moist for hours and no color fade and yes, I use it myself for this.

For shea buttah purchases, if you are buying multiple scents, I will send one invoice through Paypal to you once you are done shopping. Usually, you can do this through Etsy, however if you get confused, just convo me and let me know. Paypal charges for each transaction, so to combine them into one transaction avoids additional fees. For single scent purchases, if you want more than one, you can change the quantity to however many you want (as long as it's in stock) and not buy one and then go back and buy another of the same scent.

SMALL PRINT STUFF (Boring, but necessary)
NUT & LATEX ALLERGY WARNING: Unrefined Shea butter is derived from the nut of the Karite tree. Unrefined shea butter naturally contains latex – which is also known to cause allergic reactions in people with latex allergies. If you have had an allergic reaction to nuts or latex, we do not recommend this product for you.

I only use REFINED shea butter and have a latex allergy and this does not affect my allergy in any way, yet a bandage with latex gives me a rash that lasts for days. Perhaps the refining of the shea butter makes a difference.

Persons suffering from latex allergies should do an allergy Patch Test before using any shea butter product. Many people with latex allergies are not affected by shea butter, but some are, so it is better to be safe than sorry!

I love to make handmade crocheted items, as well as beaded items. I also dabble in yarn dyeing.

If there is any item you see in the shop and would like a different color, please convo and I'll go through my vast yarn stash and come up with a color you like.

If you see anything you like and would like to trade, please convo me-I am always up to trading items!

I am happy to combine shipping, just convo me with your info if buying more than one item and I can send out a paypal invoice or pay your invoice through Paypal and I will refund the shipping difference.

If you want a price quote ahead of time to shipping to a country other than the US or Canada, convo me and I can give you a quote.
I will accept Money Orders, USPS only please because I can cash them at the post office, but please contact me first so I can add it to the listing.

Please make payment or arrangements within 3 days of purchase or I will put the item back into the shop inventory.
