Welcome to Yellow House Knits! All of my sweaters are handknit in my little yellow house in Washington, D.C. I hope you find just what you’re looking for.
CURRENT TURNAROUND TIME FOR KNIT-TO-ORDER SWEATERS
The current turnaround time for knit-to-order sweaters is approximately five weeks. Clients waiting on previously placed orders should refer to the turnaround time quoted at the time of order (see the note to buyer on your Etsy invoice).
Payment
I accept PayPal (the fastest way to receive your order) and money orders at this time. You can also use a credit card through PayPal even if you don't have a PayPal account.
If a payment made through PayPal is not received within 72 hours, the sale will be cancelled and items will be relisted.
If a payment made via money order is not received within 14 days, the sale will be cancelled and items will be relisted.
Please contact me if you require flexibility on these timelines.
Shipping
All in-stock items ship within two business days. I ship UPS or FedEx for all domestic orders.
International orders are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. Please let me know if you would prefer UPS or FedEx shipping at an additional charge. International buyers are responsible for any and all customs charges, taxes, and other fees required by your country of residence.
Refunds and Exchanges
Your satisfaction is my number one priority! If you are unhappy with your purchase, please convo me and we will work together to fix it. If you would rather return or exchange your item, I will accept a return or exchange within 10 days provided that the item is in new, unworn condition. Shipping for returns and exchanges is at the buyer’s expense.

Materials and Care Instructions
All sweaters are made of the softest merino wool. They should be handwashed and dried flat.
A Word About Colors
Please remember that computer monitors display colors differently. I try to make the color descriptions as vivid as possible so you know what to expect, but I cannot guarantee that the sweater you receive will be exactly the same as what you see on your screen. If you’d like to receive color samples before you purchase a sweater, please convo me.
Special Orders
If you’d like to see a sweater in a different size, color palette, or style (cardigan, crewneck, v-neck), or if you have an idea for something totally different, convo me. Additional charges may apply.
Gift Wrap
Please let me know if you would like me to gift wrap your item.
Other
My home is smoke free. All sweaters are handwashed prior to shipping.
