I hope you like all of my hand painted, hand crafted spindles,fibers and artworks. Each YSA spindle is built from scratch, meaning that here at Yorkieslave I cut and prepare all of the parts by hand. My spindles are cut, sanded, beveled, primed, and painted by me, from my own designs and most are one of a kind, because when the muse descends, I paint what I'm in the mood for. When I finish painting, my artworks are sealed with up to 3 coats of hand applied varnish to ensure that the paint is well protected. My spindles take about three weeks for me to create from start to finish and then I spend time spinning with each spindle to ensure that it is well balanced.
