Clouds, sea, water and chairs are some of my favourite subjects.
The succulent plant – Kalanchoe, also known as 'FLAP JACK’ is one of my ongoing current interests. I paint it in large scale, with strong shapes, shadows and colours. So much fun! Abstraction and realism compete with each other.
Painting sends me to a place where time melts away and one is so immersed with the process; it is pure joy.
