Handmade paper beads made from recycled and salvaged paper.
Paper beads are a unique jewellery making, craft and scrap booking product that have distinctive colours and shapes emerging from the paper used. I don't go out of my way to find the raw materials because in our consumer society we are bombarded with this type of printed material daily. I'm trying to do something useful (recycling) with what otherwise would be thrown away.

I finish off most of my beads with a hard resin coating. This makes them extremely durable, super shiny, and brings out the best in the printed colours. Although other beads available are well sealed, mine are HARD.
