Zahira's Boudoir designs and produces unique and sensuously intimate leatherwear creations, elegantly hand crafted in leather.
A blending of art and fashion to celebrate the feminine form in all its shapes and sizes.
Inspired by the creative eccentricity of Steampunk, the flamboyance of the Burlesque and the playfulness of fetish dressing. In Zahira's Boudoir designs, femininity and power are strongly entwined, designed for the women and men who seek to freely express their individuality and enjoy relishing the pleasures of glamorous and creative dressing up.

QUALITY
At Zahira's Boudoir, we specialize in working with heavy weight leather hides, over 3mm thick, using the highest quality naturally vegetable tanned leathers of different degrees of softness to suit each item. All of our items are hand crafted applying traditional leather work techniques and using mostly hand tools.
In each design, the leather components are carefully selected and hand cut, then worked to the highest finish where all the edges have been rounded dyed and sealed - this treatment gives the leather piece a smooth and comfortable feel and a high quality look, and it also preserves the leather into a long life of increasing beauty.. Then the pieces are hand stitched (apart from the elasticated corset belts where in order to securely bind the elastic to the leather requires the high tension of a sewing machine).
The items at the high end of our collection, are also, hand decorated through Zahira's "leather lace" techniques where the application of highly skilled carving and hole punching give the leather a delicate lace-like feminine appearance. These designs are made to order and produced in limited quantities.

We very much enjoy creating unique new designs where the wearer becomes involved in the actual design process, and trust us to create a unique item that matches their vision.
